Client Interaction Guidelines

How to Interact With Clients:

Our clients are happy to interact with those taking care of their fur babies and often insist on meeting our team members.

  • Over communication over everything

  • Be communicative

  • There are no dumb questions

  • Owners will sometimes be at home when we care for their animals, don’t be shy to say hello or ask how their day is going.

If clients have questions about pricing or scheduling you don’t know, tell them to contact Blake or JR

  • Arrive early at least 5 minutes early, if not on time.

  • Send a courtesy text as soon as you realize you’re going to be over 5 minutes late apologizing for the last minute notice and giving an exact ETA.

  • Upon arrival, allow the client to take the lead, they’re eager to provide explanations the pets can’t and guide you through their buddy’s routine.

  • Ask questions as they come up, don’t stress taking notes

  • Focus on being present and in the moment - we can always repeat questions after the meet & greet or send them a message if you forget anything.

  • Be prepared to tell them a little bit about yourself and engage in friendly conversation
